Description
Cowboys In Typical Poses -But Unposed --Two views were caught "on the fly" at the recent Texas Cowboy Reunion at Stamford. One view showing Henry Record is sleeping in a blanket on the grass. Henry Record, 74, of Monument, New Mexico, was found just after he spread his bedroll and turned in. His cowboy hat and tie are on the bed. An old friend furnished some facts on Henry, this old cowboy. Henry was reared in Palo Pinto County; worked for the JAL Ranch in West Texas and New Mexico; and has lived in New Mexico 55 years. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 9, 1946.
