Description
Pens fill up again -- Pens at the Fort Worth Stockyards, largely empty for many days past, were filling rapidly Monday with loads of grass-fed animals like these West Texas range calves, and packer buyers' activities indicated that fresh meat supplies will begin to reach dining tables within a few days. The calves are pictured here. They each have a number attached to their backs. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 8, 1946. .
