Over The Line Is Out -- William R. Griffin, Purple Heart veteran, brandishes a roman candle outside his fireworks stand at 28th and Sylvania just beyond the city limits. Sale or use of fireworks inside the city is illegal. A sign is advertising fire works. He is holding the candle and looking on to it. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 4, 1946.
