On The Glorious Fourth -- Typical of Fort Worth's Fourth of July celebrants are pictured by Fort Worth Star-Telegram photographer. Mrs. L. M. Douglas 2332 Grafton, and sister, Mrs. Hub Cooper of Sherman and ten (10) children are enjoying outdoor fun in Sycamore Park. The photograph is taken from above looking down. There is a creek and children are wading in the waterway while Mrs. Douglas, and Mrs. Cooper are supervising them. Children shown are James Clyde, Delores and Linda Cooper, Naoma Ruth and Dolly Grace Douglas, Shirley and Susie Hunter, Tom Clyde Jackson, and Jewell and Martha Ann Watson. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 5, 1946.
