Children in Fort Worth, Texas are demonstrating the A-B-Cs for avoiding Polio. Pictured in the backyard, left to right are Joe Clark Junior and Permelia Clark. The are avoiding crowds, spending the day in the shade with their pet dog, and taking it easy. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clark Senior. Joe Jr., nine, is dressed in shorts. Permelia, five is wearing a pinafore dress. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 12, 1946.
