    Description

Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association meeting. Left to right: Vestal Askew, San Angelo, secretary of the Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers Association, and Henry Bell, manager of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. Askew says some of the ranges in the Sonora area are in excellent condition, the best they have been in several years. He agreed with Ball that the prospects for a short protein feed supply this winter poses a serious problem for growers of livestock and that adverse weather conditions this summer, fall, and winter will intensify the bad condition because of a scarcity of protein feeds.
