Description
Lester Urban, 65, prepares his final bag of mail for distribution in Oklahoma. Urban retired Friday after nearly half a century of government service, the last 41 years of it with the Railway Mail Service. In this picture, he stands behind and right of a large fabric bin with mail, taking a stack from one hand and holding another in the other. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, June 29, 1946.
