Description
Sergeant George E. Wells and the former Marie Antoinette Donadey of Marseilles, France with their son Richard. Mrs. Wells and six month old Richard arrived from France after he was critically ill aboard the Zebulon Vance. Sergeant Well received emergency leave from Fort Sam Houston to meet his family. After spending some time in the hospital, Richard was given a clean bill of health. Sergeant Wells is holding the baby and feeding him a bottle. Mrs. Wells watched with approval. Sergeant Wells is dressed in his military uniform. Mrs. Wells is wearing a dark-colored dress. There is a painting on the wall behind them.
