Description
Red Cross Swimming Class. Cary Mitchell, six, receiving instructions from Mrs. Lillie Kneip in the beginner's swimming class in the Forest Park pool. Barbara Thompson, eight, looks on. Mrs. Kneip is sitting in the shallow end of the pool while Cary lays on his stomach and practices his stroke. Barbara is standing next to them. They are all wearing their bathing suits. There is a dock and a diving board in the background.
