Description

Boris "Butch" Woyt is an outfielder and third baseman for the Fort Worth Cats. He was a big player in the Cats' walk-off win against the Oklahoma City Indians. Going into the bottom of the tenth inning the Cats were down by a run. Duke Snider led off, pinch hitting for the pitcher, Roy Boles. Snider doubled to deep left but was gunned down at second after a wide turn. Jay Haney subsequently doubled. Woyt ripped a single to right, scoring Haney, who carried the tying run. Jake Phillips picked out a pitch down the middle and hammered it over the center fielder's head. Woyt came around to score the winning run. He is pictured sitting in the dugout, dressed in the Cats' home uniform.
