Description
President Law Sone of Texas Wesleyan College, left, welcomes two ex-students of Polytechnic College, predecessor of the college, to the Victory Homecoming reunion. They are Silliman Evans, center, publisher and president of the Nashville Tennessean, who spoke at the reunion, and his friend and classmate Reverand Joseph I. Patterson, pastor of Meadowbrook Methodist Church and outgoing president of the Texas Wesleyan College Alumni and Ex-Students Association. The three men are standing outside and are wearing suits. Mr. Evans is holding a hat by his side. Behind them are several shrubs and trees.
