Description
W. O. Jones, left, who becomes the acting city manager Saturday, receives a copy of the city budget from Sam Bothwell, who retired as manager Friday after cleaning his desk and relegating worthless papers. In the image, both men are wearing suits and are squatting on the floor in front of a box. Jones is accepting a book from Bothwell. There is a carton full of envelopes and books in front of them. There is a bookshelf to their left, a trash can and other office equipment to their right. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 1, 1946.
