Description

A pair of hard-punching feather-weights, Manny Ortega and Mickey Travis of Oklahoma, tangle in the 10 round main event of May 28, Tuesday night's boxing card in the North Side Coliseum. The fight show will start at 8:30 pm. It will be the second program staged by promoter Hank Rabun and Matchmaker Dick Griffin. Ortega is well known here. In 1943 he captured the Texas Golden Gloves feather crown. Since turning pro, he has won all but one bout. In the image, Manny is wearing a shirt and trousers.
