Description
Miss Cecile Rabut, French attorney studying in the United States on an exchange government program, could not speak a word of English when she docked in New York seven months ago. But since then she has "picked up" enough to lecture, under auspices of the American Association of University Women, in 35 states. Miss Rabut is the daughter of Jack Rabut who is with the French supply mission to the United States. She is in Fort Worth as the guest of Captain and Mrs. Frank Patterson, who visited the Rabut home in Paris while serving in the American Military government. In the image, Cecile is sitting in the chair and is smiling for the camera. She is wearing a polka-dot dress. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 28, 1946.
