Description

Mrs. Heard Floore (left), secretary of the Fort Worth Children's Hospital board, receives a check for $47.52 from Miss Ann McGlinchey, of the Woman's Traffic Club, to be applied on the hospital's laboratory fund. The club, which donated its commission on flower show ticket sales, also contributes monthly to the hospital's milk fund. Both women are standing on front of a wall and are holding the check, as they pose for the camera. They are wearing hats. Mrs. Floore is wearing a blazer and Ms. McGlinchey is wearing a dark-colored dress and a pearl necklace. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 25,1946.
