    Description

    This is all that remained of the car of James W. Heflin, 61, of 5829 Wall Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, when it burned after being dragged half a mile by a passenger train near Birdville. Heflin was killed in the in the collision. The wreckage was next to the railway track. There is a train in the stationary position on the railway track with passengers alighting to view the wreckage. A truck is working to move the wreckage out of the ditch. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 22, 1946.
