Description

John Keane, 34, is the player manager for the Houston Buffaloes. He doesn't often write his name into the line-up, but when he does it is at either shortstop or third base. Keane is wearing Houston's road uniform. Keane is a St. Louis, Missouri, native and after managing in the minors for 17 years, he got his first assignment with his hometown team. In 1964, Keane led the St. Louis Cardinals to a World Series win.
