Description
Asa Short joined the Worth Clothiers' nine in the Major City League. For the past three weeks, Short drove in at least one run in every game and is batting at a.400 clip. The catcher has been one of the city's leading sandlot players for the past four years. Short is standing in the right-handed batter's box, awaiting his pitch. He is dressed in the Clothier uniform consisting of a hat, jersey with piping down the front, baseball pants, stirrups and cleats. Behind the backstop and down the third base line are the bleachers.
