Description

Officers of the Charles C. Johnson III post No. 547, American Legion, newly organized on the Texas Christian University campus, will be installed when the charter is presented and all members initiated by the Bothwell Kane Post. Left to right are Maurice C. Langford, historian, James Mussetter, Post Commander, Stuart F. Hendricks, Sergeant-at-arms and Derwood Johnson, chaplain. All men are wearing suits and are standing next to each other in a room. Langford, Mussetter and Hendricks are sophomore ; Johnson is a freshmen. Fifty-six studens have been charter members. Published in the the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 19, 1946.
