Texas Wesleyan College (TWC) freshman class elected its sophomore year officers for 1946-1947. Three officer are pictured here. They are from left to right, Secretary Penta Jo Price of 3416 W. 6th Street, Fort Worth, Texas; Reporter Betty Jane Turney of 3951 Lisbon, Fort Worth, Texas, and Vice President Mary McLeod of Eunice, New Mexico. Three girls are standing in front of a wall posing for the camera. Penta Jo Price and Mary McLeod are wearing skirts and blouses and Jane Turney is wearing a dress, a necklace and a bracelet on her left hand. Mary is wearing a bracelet on her left hand. Penta Jo is the college drum major and Mary is one of the majorettes. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 20, 1946.
