Description
Leaders of the First Grade Rhythm Band of Glen Rose Elementary School, which made a trip to Forest Park, interrupt the festivities long enough to contribute to the Baby Hippo Fund. Left to right, are Gay Carol Parnelle, Jeanette Eddy and Nan Dee Keenum. All three girls are in their band uniforms and are standing next to a board that says: Contribute to Star-Telegram Hippopotamus Fund. All are posing for the camera. They are wearing hats with flower arrangements on them. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 16, 1946.
