Description
Mrs. Emma Goodrich, 75-year-old mother of 11 children, still finds plenty to do with her leisure time. Besides her delicate oil paintings, she fashions little dolls from old socks stuffed with cotton, and uses her sewing skill on attractive gingham aprons. She is shown seated on a chair and holding a paintbrush in one hand and a postcard in the other. She is wearing a floral patterned dress. Her handmade dolls and aprons are on the side table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 21, 1946.
