Mrs. Joy Scopes Barker of London inaugurated four o'clock tea custom shortly after she arrived at home of her husband's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Green, 2934 5th Ave, Fort Worth, Texas. She is shown seated on the couch and holding a cup and a saucer. She is wearing an evening dress with a fabric floral brooch and a pin and a watch on her left hand. There is a lampshade and a picture frame in background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 14, 1946.
