    Mrs. Gus Rahr, Gold Star mother, placing flowers on the Fraternal Order of Eagles monument shaft at West Oakwood Cemetery during Mothers' Day services there Sunday. Mrs. Rahr's son, Staff Sergeant Gustave B. Rarh, was killed in action in 1943. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 13, 1946.
