Max Thomas is a thirty-five year old left-handed pitcher for the Fort Worth Cats. He will take the mound against his former team, the Tulsa Oilers. The opposing pitcher is the great Dizzy Dean. Thomas is warming up in the bullpen before the game. He is dressed in the Cats' home pinstripe uniform.
