Gaylord Stone, left, president of Universal Mills, presents a bonus check to Nathan Danford, company driver, to complement the safety award given to Mr. Danford by Associated Employers Lloyds. Mr. Stone is wearing a suit and Mr. Danford is wearing a plaid shirt and jeans. They are both holding the check at each end and Mr. Stone has his left hand on Mr. Danford's shoulder. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 5, 1945.
