    Description

    Earl Weniger, 22, who was a member of General Eisenhower's honor guard in Frankfurt, Germany, received his discharge after three years' service. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Weniger of 2013 Ashland. The ex-private first class trained as a paratrooper and spent 14 months in Europe with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is a graduate from Arlington Heights High School. He plans to enter North Texas Agricultural College next fall. He is shown sitting down and wearing a buttoned coat and a paisley patterned necktie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 7, 1946.
