Miss Betty Avery, of Chattanooga, Tennessee with her cousin Miss Gloria Lupton, were honored by Miss Lupton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Lupton, at a dinner held at the Lupton home. Miss Avery is shown sitting on the edge of a couch. She is wearing a floral print dress. Behind her is a window with the blinds open and curtains pulled back. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 9, 1946.
