Mug shot of Dallas, Texas ex-convict Dave Franklin Jarvis, 24 years old. He is shown wearing a collared shirt and necktie. Mr. Jarvis was charged with the murder of Ivan J. Poole, 43, a six-times ex-convict, also of Dallas. The principal evidence to the crime is a suit of blood-stained clothing bearing a laundry mark in both coat and trousers found on the east side of Hensley Field. Investigation officers theorize that the motive behind the killing was business deals gone bad, being engaged in gambling activities. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 1, 1946.
