Description
Dub McPhail, Star-Telegram photographer, caught Mrs. Salome Hugo of Amarillo in perfect focus Monday just as a nondescript pooch, obviously a camera hound, bounded into her lap at the photographers' convention at Hotel Texas and commenced chewing on her glove. Result: A composite picture just to let you know the photo men are back in town after a five-year, war-enforced absence. The Southwestern Photographers Association and the Texas Professional Photographers Association held a joint convention. Photograph of Mrs. Salome Hugo of Amarillo and dog sitting on a chair. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition April 29, 1946.
