Model plane winners. First place winners in Fort Worth Army Air Field's model plane contest are shown with their prizes. Back row, left to right, Jimmie Eastland and Gene Maye with model plane motors awarded them for U-controlled models; David Bayless with a model air plane kit presented for his P-47 solid scale and (front) Katie Beth Hunter, awarded a cosmetic set for her solid scale model in the girls' class.
