Vernon Isbell and his sister Mayme Isbell are the owners and operators of Isbell's University of Beauty Culture. In an attempt to expand, they announced the purchase of the Sellers School of Beauty Culture in a transaction involving approximately $100,000. Mayme started the university in 1937 and her brother became a partner in the business last January. Vernon is a nationally recognized hair stylist. He is standing in front of a wall with one hand behind his back, dressed in a suit.
