Description
Crewmen on the Stanolind Oil and Gas Company No. 1 Lee Irish, section 18, are opening the first oil production in Hale County. Crew members are watching oil spurt from wells as it is swabbed. They are, left to right, Lee Tipton, J. L. Atchison, S. C. Easter, and Henry J. Laseman. Mr. Tipton is wearing a hardhat, a button-up shirt, and trousers. Mr. Atchison is dressed in a hardhat, long-sleeve shirt, and overalls. Mr. Easter is wearing a hardhat, long-sleeve shirt and overalls. Mr. Laseman is wearing a hat and a jump suit.
