Description
Crewmen on the Stanolind Oil and Gas Company No. 1 Lee Irish, section 18, are opening the first oil production in Hale County. Left to right are land owners S. E. Durrett and H. P. Adams. Mr. Durrett owns the land adjoining the Irish farm. He has lived there for 26 years. He is wearing a hat, long-sleeve shirt, and overalls. Mr. Adams has lived on his spread a mile and a half from the well for 29 years. He is wearing a hat and a button-up shirt. The men are standing in front of an automobile.
