Description
Scout Ernest Neuman is a raising the flag presented to the Boy and Girl Scouts of the Lena Pope Home. The flag is being raised during a ceremony Monday afternoon. Standing to the left of the flagpole are Mrs. C. P. Henley, Effie Ruth Hasley and Eula Clark. Mrs. Henley is chairman of the flag committee for the Daughters of the American Revolution (D. A. R.). She is wearing a hat, collared blouse, blazer, and a skirt. Effie Ruth, a Girl Scout, is dressed in her uniform. Eula, a Blue Bird, is also wearing her uniform.
