Description

Marvin B. Simpson Junior announced that he will seek the Texas Democratic party's nomination this summer as state senator from the 28th District. Mr. Simpson has been a state representative in Tarrant County for the past three terms. During World War II, he served 34-months as a lieutenant with the United States Maritime Service. He was discharged September of 1945, and has since been practicing law. Mr. Simpson is 30 years old, married, and the father of two children. He is sitting on a chair, dressed in a light-colored suit.
