Earl Rudder was elected mayor of Brady, Texas, Tuesday evening. Celebrating, left to right, are Mr. and Mrs. John Rudder and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rudder. The brothers are partners in a Brady drugstore. They are in Fort Worth, Texas, attending a Rexall convention with their wives. Mr. John Rudder is dressed in a dark suit. Mrs. John Rudder is wearing a hat and a pinstripe dress. Mayor Rudder is a formal colonel in the United States Army. He led a Ranger battalion in the Normandy invasion. He also coached football at Brady High School and John Tarleton Agricultural College. He is dressed in a tweed suit. Mrs. Earl Rudder is wearing a hat, blouse, and a skirt. He purse is cradled in her arm.
