The Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) football team is participating in a spring Purple-White scrimmage at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Star tailback Jim Lucas (player 40), of Pecos, Texas, is shown breaking away on a 22-yard run. Credited with the timely block is lineman Tommy Webb (83). He is shown on the ground, with a defender.
