Fred W. Redman is holding his two-year-old nephew, Paul Lee Holt, after rescuing the young boy from drowning Thursday. Paul Lee, son of Mrs. Ruth Redman Holt, is intrigued by the photographer's flash bulb being shown to him by his uncle. Mr. Redman is a petty officer with the United States Navy. He is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers.
