Description
May Flower Festival. Left to right: Mrs. R. E. Hutchison and Miss Mae Jo Winn. The two women are shown holding up peach tree blossoms from Delaware that have to be stored at a low temperature to prevent full blooming. These were the first state entry for the festival. Both women appear to be smiling widely as they face each other. Mrs. Hutchinson is wearing a long, dark dress with a floral hair clip while Mrs. Winn is wearing a buttoned, striped dress. Behind her is a wooden chair.
