The Fort Worth Cats are hosting the visiting Milwaukee Brewers in a Minor League Baseball match-up. The Cats are a AA affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Brewers are a AAA affiliate for the Chicago White Sox. In the third inning of the contest Brewer shortstop Homer Chapman (17) attempted a steal of second. He is shown entering his slide. Cat shortstop Barney White (left) is covering the bag while second baseman Bobby Haddock backs up the throw. Umpire Mullen called the runner safe. The Brewers went on to win the game 2-1.
