Description
The Texas Christian University baseball team is hosting the visiting Oklahoma Sooners Thursday night at Purple Field in Fort Worth, Texas. The Frogs held a 1-0 lead entering the sixth inning when Sooner Bill Simms (22) slid feet first into third base. The wild throw bounced away from Frog third baseman Benny McClure (9) and Simms advanced home, tying the game. The Sooners went on to win the contest 11-3.
