    Description

    The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Battling for spots on the team this Spring Training are catchers Ray Anderson (left) and Danny Long. Anderson is twenty-seven and a native of California. Long is twenty-years old a native of Montgomery, Alabama. The rivals are show crouching behind the plate with their catcher's mitts.
