Description

The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Participating in a Spring Training practice, left to right, are Solly Hemus, Bob Costello, Moe Santomauro, Boris "Butch" Woyt, and Ed Krage. In the upcoming days, coaches will pair down the Spring Training roster from sixty-six players to fifteen. The remaining players will either be claimed by others in the Brooklyn farm system or be released outright.
