Description
The Texas Christian University baseball team is preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Coach Walter Roach is fielding his first team since the end of the war. Two of the fine backstops this year, left to right, are Harry Mullins and Ralph Porter. They are shown crouching behind the plate with their catcher's mitts. Mullins, the veteran of the team, has a fine arm and is a good hitter. Porter is returning from military service.
