Description
The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Warming-up for a Spring Training game is Joe "Red" Bielemeier. The eighteen-year-old right-handed pitcher is a strong candidate to make the team. He went on to throw eight innings of two-hit baseball fort the Cats Tuesday afternoon. Red is shown on the rubber, entering his windup. He is dressed in his baseball uniform.
