The Fort Worth Cats were tied with the Shreveport Sports in the eighth inning. Image of Norman Kies, the Cats' catcher. came in to bat for John Stoneham. Kies delivered a homerun against the Sports' pitcher Jack Brillheart. Kies is pictured during a bullpen session prior to the game. He is wearing the Cats' home pinstripe uniform and his catcher's gear.
