Joseph E. Taulman, 79, died of heart attack March 19, 1946. He is shown sitting in a chair at his home and setting a headline for the Star-Telegram, where he had worked for 20 years. His "Taulman Collection" of Texas historical material is now a part of the archives section of the University of Texas library. He is wearing a tied apron and a pair of striped trousers. He is also wearing a pair of eyeglasses and looking off to his left.
