Mrs. L. B. Gary is shown with a giant daffodil in her garden. She is wearing a long-sleeved, patterned shirt and a long dark skirt. She is also holding up some measuring tape next to the daffodil which measures five inches in diameter. Around her is the rest of her garden and behind her is a house. Mrs. Gary is a member of the gardening department of the Woman's Club and the South Side Garden Club.
