    Description

Here to assist in opening the Southwestern Exposition & Fat Stock Show Friday, Governor Coke Stevenson, a rancher in private life, grabbed a few minutes to get measured for a new pair of boots. Wielding the tape measure is Louis White of Louis White Boot and Saddle Shop, 2461 North Main. Governor Stevenson, wearing a suit and cowboy hat, is seated with his right foot being measured by Mr. White. There are two calendars being Governor Stevenson's head. In the background is a counter top with a phone and various leather pieces hanging on the wall. Star-Telegram Morning Edition March 9, 1946
